Go Formative: Why it should be your new best friend.

I’ve had an account on Go Formative for years. I’ve never used it to it’s full potential, until now. With COVID closures and remote teaching now my full-time gig (see more here), my eyes have been opened to all Go Formative has to offer. Prepare to have your mind blown!

Go Formative gives you SO MUCH flexibility when it comes to the type of input you provide students! Look at all these options!

I can add audio, video, images, make my own whiteboard background for students to write on, and more! The possibilities are practically endless.

Check Out These Questions Types

Not only do teachers have freedom when it comes to input, the question types you can ask are outstanding.

That “Resequence” option? You can give students audio, video, images, or text to put in the correct order. And “Show Your Work”? Students can draw, import images, insert shapes, and use multiple colors. Is your mind blown yet?

Upload YOUR OWN Files!

This is the serious game changer! I can upload files (PDFs, docs, etc) that I already have and add questions. This is a huge time saver! Check out the screen shot below!

You can also pull questions from other activities you’ve created saving even more time!

I always used the free version of Go Formative, which is extremely robust. I upgraded to premium, free for 30 days for COVID closures. I plan to pay for the premium version once the trial ends because it is that amazing!
